COLOMBO: At least eight persons were killed and 20 including a Sri Lankan minister were wounded in suicide attack in a mosque in Sri Lankan south, police said. Sri Lankan Minister of Communication Mohinda Vijaysekera was also wounded in the attack, sources said.
A religious ceremony was being held in the mosque and local political leaders were also present in the mosque when a suicide bomber blown up, sources said.
