X-MEN First Class Trailer & Official (2011): This isn't the first X-Men movie you've worked on. You wrote X-Men 3: The Last Stand. What did you learn from that film that you brought into this film [X-Men: First Class]?

A lot of things, actually. Part of it was X-Men 3, as the third of a trilogy, I think in some ways went for a bigger bang, probably less character development than we did in this movie. So we went back to the basics of what Bryan Singer and Chris Nolan has done so well — of making a really character driven, dramatic story.X-MEN First Class Trailer & Official (2011)
